Sakura is the angel Cerezo, she is the sister of Aphrodite and Momoko's mother. She once offered to heal one of her enemies - the devil Uragano - who used the offer as an opportunity to attack and kill her comrades - the angels Salvia, Daisy and Lily, his attack also caused Cerezo, himself, and the deceased angels souls to be blown down to the human world where Cerezo and Uragano lost their memories.

When on earth she took the name Sakura. She encountered Hanasaki Shōchirō and fell in love with him, married him and had a daughter, Momoko, however when Momoko was just a baby Sakura's memories of her life as Cerezo returned and she knew she had to return to the Angel World to help the fight against the devils and one night, weaping, she left them. When Shōchirō tried to follow her and asked why she was leaving all she could tell him was that if she was to reveal where she was going and why that he and Momoko would be put in danger.

She loves her family deeply and it tore her apart when she had to leave them, but it was either that or see love and friendship disappear from existance. She and Momoko got the chance to speak briefly after the fight with Altheon, she explained that until Momoko could master her powers and harness the full potential of the Saint Something Four then she could not return to earth nor could anyone enter the Angel World; this imbrude Momoko with even more determination to defeat the devils.
