Flower: Lily (Lilium) Angel Lily is often pictured with what appear to be Madonna Lilies (Lilium candidum), the pun in her human name refers to a Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis) which is not a 'true lily' because it is not a member of the genus Lilium.

In the Viz Media Versions of the manga all the girls transform with the words Wedding Beautiful Flower, they yell out their titles (e.g. Angel Precious Lily) either as they 'orio-naoshi (dress change)' into fighter form or as their transformations apparently finish (often the reader sees the girls wedding dress selves in the background as they pose in there fighter forms - here is an example)

Yuri is a formal speaking studious young woman, unlike most 'smart characters' in popular fiction Yuri is not so fond of science, Biology is her least favourite subject because she dislikes dissection (a frog she was attempting to disect once jumped up at her). She is elegant and well composed and is more often the observer of Momoko and Hinagiku's antics than a participant - unless the subject of the arguement is Yanigiba-senpai! Her enjoys playing the piano, she is the layout designer for her school newspaper.

Yuri and Hinagiku both transform when their school is attacked by Pluie, when they are trapped in his Vortex sucks the life energy out of both of them Momoko (as Wedding Peach) cries over their apparent deaths and sends out a wave of love that revives them and awakens their dormant Love Angel powers, Pluie then unleashes his underling Tornade upon them and the girls 'orio-naoshi (dress change)' into their Fighter Angels forms for the first time. Yuri and Hinagiku are both reincarnations of angels from the Angel World, who fought the Devil World alongside the Lady Celeste.

Yuri is the second Love Angel, after Salvia, to have memories of her past life return. She discovers that she and Sir Limone were lovers in the Angel World, and that she died when he could not protect her - he blamed himself for this. So when he was injured in a battle and transformed back into Yanigiba-senpai she stayed at his side until he regained his conciousness. After the final battle he decided to stay on Earth with her.

Unlike Hinagiku, Yuri gets along well with Jama-p. Yuri is often the tactician of the team, putting her mind to work so that the Love Angels can outwit their enemies.
