Potamos first appears when Reine Devila sends her to kill the now useless Ignis, she fawns over him in a sicknening way before striking him with an ice spear. Even though it isn't Potamos who finally kills Ignis (he commits suicide) it was Potamos' ice spear that set the chain of events that lead up to his death in action.

She is put in charge of defeating the Love Angels and disguises herself as a human and enrols in Hanazono Junior High with the name Kawanami Hiromi, in order to both target the Love Angels and to try and seduce Yōsuke. She wants to kill the Love Angels - especially Wedding Peach - and keep Yōsuke to herself, she is self-centred and is quite childish, she uses charms to make men fall for her.

She throws herself all over Yōsuke both as Hiromi and as Potamos, but Yōsuke isn't intrested in her in either form. It is when Potamos nearly kills Wedding Peach and Angels Daisy, and Lily that Salvia is forced to appear and after Yōsuke becomes Viento she hangs around him in the Devil World much to his annoyance.

However she shows that she has actually developed a true love for Yōsuke when she sacrifices herself to save him even though she knows he doesn't love her. Her selfish obession had become unconditional love and she was happy to die for him.
