Shōchirō is a photographer, Momoko inherited her love of photography from him. He cares very much for his daughter, he had to bring her up alone as his wife Sakura left when Momoko was still a baby - telling him she had to leave and that if she told him why he and Momoko could be put in danger; he kept this from his daughter until he felt she was old enough to understand that her mother didn't simply abandon them.

Momoko often helps her Dad out with his work as a wedding photographer, she cares about her father as much as he cares for her.
