Family Business: Wedding Dress Boutique owners (Ryuzō runs the business and Elena designs the dresses), her grandparents were both sculpters.

Yuri is an only child, she seems to have a good relationship with her parents (We only see them briefly, we see her mother during a flashback when Yuri remembers her mother pointing out the ear rings her grandfather made for her grandmother to wear at there wedding, the only other time her father appear is in a brief scene in the tankōbon #6 side story in which Chispa appears in where both her parent worry when Yuri "spaces out" at the dinner table).

We actually know at lot more about Yuri's maternal grandparents than about her parents, it is revealed that Yuri's grandmother - Éveline - was French, and that she met Yuri's grandfather when he was studying art in France (she too was a student of art). They fell in love but at the time it was frowned upon to marry a foreigner but they didn't care and married anyway and in time it was no longer a frowned upon thing. When Éveline died Yuri's grandfather sculpted her special gravestone in her shape. It stands in the Hanazono Campus Church graveyard. The earrings that Yuri's grandfather crafted for her grandmother came to harbour the energy of the Saint Something Blue.
