The Saint Something Four
The Saint Something Four were originally the four "somethings" that were worn by a bride in the Angel World, the love that existed between the bride and her groom in that union allowed the items to radiate the power of love. These four items came to be cherished by the angels and they gradually began to radiate love power more and more.
When the devils invaded the Angel World they attacked the four somethings in their attempt to destroy the power of love, however the four somethings evaded the devils by transforming into pure love energy and flying down to the human world. To Japan, in a meteor shower that occured as the Hanazono campus - including the school church - was under construction and over the course of 100 years each of the somethings came to dwell in items that were cherished symbols of the love that existed between four of the couples that married there.
The Saint Something Old | Wedding Peach
The Saint Something Old was concealed in Momoko's Mother's wedding ring, which she had been left to her when her mother disappeared. It first transformed into its Saint Something form when Wedding Peach, Angel Daisy and Angel Lily were attacked by Jama-P and Wedding Peach drew all Jama-P's energy into herself to try and save the other two. This act of love for her friends allowed the ring to change shape. From the light that shone when the ring transformed emerged a sword that Wedding Peach then used to purge the hatred from Jama-P's heart.
The ring was later stolen by Pluie, Fūma Yōsuke was kidnapped by Reine Devila shortly afterwards and when the girls followed the now good Jama-P into the rift that connects the Human and Devil Worlds to retrieve and rescue the ring, a battle ensued and Pluie ended up falling to his death into one of his own vertices, along with the ring; in order for the girls' to not suffer the same fate they all put their faith in the power of love and the ring was called out of the vortex, the reaction it had to the the Love Angels' wave of love was to allow them to transform into their Super Love Angel forms for the first time.
Later in a battle against Ignis, Wedding Peach's desire to save Amano Takurō allowed the ring to transform even further, into the Saint Crystal. Wedding Peach uses this crystal to perform the attack Saint Crystal Love For You.
The Saint Something Old was originally the angel bride's pearl necklace that had been handed down the generations; she was given it by her grandmother.
Saint Something Blue | Angel Lily
The second "something" to appear was worn by Angel Lily, its earthly form being that of a pair of handcrafted earrings that Yuri's grandfather made for her grandmother, Éveline, to wear on her wedding day. Yuri's grandmother was French, at the time her grandparents got married it was frowned upon to marry a foreigner but they married anyway.
The earrings appeared from Éveline's grave when Momoko cried over how sad Yuri's grandfather must have felt as he sculpted the statue for her grave after Éveline died, Momoko's ring reacted to these feelings and the earrings reacted to the ring - they where called out of the grave just in time for Ignis to try and steal them. In the fight that followed Angel Lily managed to get a hold of the earrings and she asked them to give her strength, so they transformed into a sceptre - the Saint Strahl. With which she can perform the attack Saint Strahl Stardust.
The Saint Something Blue was originally the blue ribbon that was tied around the angel bride's bouquet.
The Saint Something Borrowed | Angel Daisy
Hinagiku's saint item was hidden within her mothers' pendant; it was the first gift her father (Masahiro) bought for her mother (Akemi). Her Akemi gave it to Hinagiku in the hope that it might help her become more ladylike.
The pendant first transformed when Hinagiku worried over Amano Takurō's sudden change in persona, soon after Ignis sent his servant Chispa to collect it but she failed when Angel Daisy vowed that she'd never hand the symbol of her own parents' love to a devil, the pendant then transformed into a scepter - The Saint Tornado. Daisy used this sceptre to attack and obliterate Chispa with her Saint Tornado Dreams attack.
The Saint Something Borrowed was originally the white gloves that the angel bride borrowed from her mother.
Saint Something New | Angel Salvia
Scarlett’s item was her mothers' Tiara, when she borrowed it for part of her costume in her school's Christmas Play four years before she met the other girls Aphrodite appeared to her, calling her Salvia - from then on she began to remember her past life in her dreams. Sometime later Limone appeared to her to tell her to return to the town of her birth in order to aid the other Love Angels.
We never see when it first transforms into either its Saint Something or weapon form but it becomes the Saint Sword, and Salvia uses it in her Saint Sword Passionate Cake Cut attack.
The Saint Something New was originally the Angel Bride's new veil.
